Three new awards have been announced for 2011: The Wayne A. Hening Sleep Medicine Investigator Award recognizes scientific contributions in sleep from promising young investigators, the Mitchell B. Max Award for Neuropathic Pain recognizes an individual for outstanding work in the field of neuropathic pain for either a single contribution or for lifetime achievement, and the Neuroendocrine Research Award recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to neuroendocrine research. Recipients of all three awards will receive monetary prizes and be honored during the 63rd Annual Meeting.
