The AAN's Interventional Section is evolving, as the number of trained endovascular and interventional neurologists approaches a national and international critical mass. To reflect the changes in this discipline within neurology, the section has been renamed as the Endovascular and Interventional Neurology Section.

The Endovascular and Interventional Neurology Section promotes research, education, and the credentialing for interventional procedures performed by neurologists.

Read a recent message from the section chair, Osama Zaidat, MD.
