CME Webinar Clarifies Coding for Stroke

Members looking for answers when it comes to coding for stroke are encouraged to register for "Complete Coding Guidance for Stroke and Critical Care," a new CME Practice Management webinar set for May 3, 12:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Program director Laura B. Powers, MD, FAAN, will help participants understand how to properly code the most common outpatient and inpatient visits and acute stroke interventions, use critical care codes for stroke services, and determine appropriate ICD diagnosis codes for stroke. Webinar attendees will also learn how to structure their documentation to comply with federal standards of their patient encounters, analyze the reimbursement for the CPT codes, and recognize recent changes to coding and compliance of the codes.

The 90-minute webinar provides physicians 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, and non-neurologists receive a certificate of completion redeemable for credits. The deadline to register is April 29.
