Movement Disorders Section Reviews Guideline on Treatment of Nonmotor Symptoms of Parkinson's Disease

The leadership of the Quality Standards Subcommitee (QSS) and the Therapeutics and Technology subcommittee (TTA) have recently proposed that each of the AAN sections be asked for a list of section reviewers who will review new AAN guidelines during the review process. Reviewers may come from both the executive committee and general membership. This year we have reviewed a Practice Parameter concerning the Treatment of Nonmotor symptoms of Parkinson's Disease. Reviewers were asked to complete a seven item checklist and provide additional comments. The guideline was published in the March 16, 2010, edition of the journal Neurology®
