The webinar "Ready, Set, Payment: Using Certified EHRs for Meaningful Use Payments" to be presented on February 15 covers what federal incentives are available for electronic health record (EHR) use. The deadline to register is February 11.

Program director William S. Henderson, FACMPE, will provide participants with a better understanding of incentive requirements, discuss how to apply with CMS to receive the incentives, and identify EHRs or EHR modules that are certified to qualify for Meaningful Use Stage 1. Upon completion, participants will also be able to define the requirements of neurologists to demonstrate meaningful use, calculate the consequences for neurologists who do not purchase an EHR, evaluate whether the incentive is worth pursuing—and learn why sooner may be better than later for the neurologist in practice.

Physicians earn 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ per webinar, and non-neurologists (i.e., practice and office managers) will receive a certificate of completion redeemable for credits.

The webinar is approximately 90 minutes long and begins at 12:00 p.m. ET. The fee for members is $149. Additional webinars are only $50, but must be purchased at the same time in order to receive the discounted price. The price of each conference is per phone line (there is no limit to the number of attendees per call).
