AMA Reminds Physicians: 'November is National Heal that Claim Month'

As part of its national campaign to save the health system billions of dollars by improving the accuracy and efficiency of medical claims processing, the AMA announced last week it has selected this month as the first national "Heal that Claim"™ month.

As part of its national campaign to save the health system billions of dollars by improving the accuracy and efficiency of medical claims processing, the AMA has announced its selection of November as the first national "Heal that Claim"™ month. "Heal that Claim"™ month is part of the AMA's ongoing "Heal that Claim Process"™ campaign, which launched last June with the unveiling of the AMA's first National Health Insurer Report Card.

To help physicians participate, the AMA's Practice Management Center is offering physicians free tools for cutting through the ambiguity and bureaucracy of processing claims with health insurers.
