The early registration deadline for the 2008 AAN Fall Conference at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside in New Orleans is quickly approaching. Be sure to register by September 18 to save on registration and hotel costs.
"Not only will the 2008 Fall Conference provide an excellent education opportunity for our members," said Austin J. Sumner, MD, FAAN, Chair of the AAN Foundation and New Orleans resident, "but New Orleans will provide the perfect backdrop to what I hope will be a truly memorable three-day weekend."
"We regret that we weren't able to host our 2005 Regional Conference in New Orleans due to Hurricane Katrina," Sumner continued, "but we are thrilled about the opportunity to experience all of the exciting regrowth and infectious energy of this wonderful town today."
Situated in the Central Business District, with the Mississippi River serving as its backdrop, the Hilton New Orleans is ideally located for travelers of all ages and interests to experience some of the city's most vibrant amenities. At the Hilton's doorstep lies the revitalized famous French Quarter, the Arts District, Riverwalk Marketplace with its more than 140 shops and food outlets, museums, and a host of new and exciting restaurants and shops just waiting to be explored.
With the Hilton's prime location, getting to everything in the "Big Easy" couldn't be easier: explore by foot or catch a streetcar less than a block from the hotel. Plus, you'll want to take time to explore the Hilton's recently completed, extensive renovation, including beautifully remodeled rooms, health club, excellent restaurant and café, 29th floor Executive Lounge, and much more.
Added Sumner, "We're very proud that the AAN can be a part of the significant and ongoing revitalization of this true gem of a city."
Register today for the AAN Fall Conference by the September 18 early registration deadline.
