Are you frustrated with the current state of health care? Learn to make an impact on future health care policies and apply to become a participant in the next Donald M. Palatucci Advocacy Leadership Forum. Applications are accepted online only and must be submitted by September 21, 2008. The Forum will be held January 8–11, 2009, in San Diego.

Through hands-on, interactive workshops you will learn the skills needed to produce positive change for your patients and the profession of neurology. Selected Forum participants will:

• Become more confident leaders
• Develop skills in media communications and grassroots legislative advocacy
• Gain insight from the advocacy experiences of Forum graduates
• Learn how to empower and motivate their peers to join their advocacy efforts

The Forum is supported in part by an educational grant from UCB, Inc. The Academy will cover travel expenses, accommodations, and meals for all participants.
