The Neurology® Podcasts were launched on September 4, 2007. Each podcast is introduced by Editor-in-Chief John H. Noseworthy, MD, who discusses several highlighted articles in the current issue of the journal. The podcast features an interview with the author of an article in the current issue that summarizes the paper and discusses the main findings and clinical implications for neurologists. It concludes with the Lesson of the Week, a short segment on a topic such as a laboratory technique, statistical methods, or historical neurology. The Editor of the Podcasts is Ted M. Burns, MD.
Users may listen to individual podcasts or subscribe to an RSS feed to receive free podcasts weekly. They can listen to them on a computer or download them to an Ipod or MP3 player. The online CME exams for podcasts include multiple-choice question tests.
