FDA Warns of Deaths and Severe Side Effects Linked to Botulinum Toxin

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning about the use of botulinum toxin following the deaths of some children, mostly those with cerebal palsy treated for limb spasticity. The FDA also has received reports of severe side effects in adults who were treated with botulinum toxin for several different kinds of conditions.
