The October 1, 2012, deadline is quickly approaching to apply  for one of the following 2013 American Brain Foundation fellowships.

Clinical Research Training Fellowships

Supported by the American Academy of Neurology and the American Brain Foundation
Two–year mentored awards of up to $130,000 in salary and tuition stipends, designed for relatively new investigators in the early–to–mid stages of their training in clinical research methodology:

  • American Brain Foundation Clinical Research Training Fellowship (topic determined by applicant)
  • Susan S. Spencer Clinical Research Training Fellowship in Epilepsy
  • Clinical Research Training Fellowship in Juvenile Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis
  • Clinical Research Training Fellowships in Neurotoxins

Richard Olney, MD, Clinician–Scientist Development Award in ALS
Three–year award of up to $240,000 in salary and tuition stipends to support clinical research leading to discovery of new therapies in ALS.

Practice Research Training Fellowship  
A two–year award of up to $130,000 in salary and tuition stipends to support training in clinical practice research intended to create unique training opportunities previously difficult to access for neurologists.
