Perhaps one of the five–letter words most dreaded by physicians is “audit.” Physicians and business managers may get particularly queasy when notified of a Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) audit.

To help neurologists prepare for the possibility and actuality of a Medicare/Medicaid RAC or other audit, the AAN encourages physicians and practice managers to attend “Thriving in the Face of an Audit,” an AAN Practice Management Webinar offered online on Tuesday, September 18, at 12:00 p.m. ET. Registration is online only at www.aan.com/view/pmw12, and the deadline to register is Monday, September 17.
