AAN members are encouraged to comment on the new draft Quality Improvement (QI) Strategy.

The strategy was developed by the AAN Quality Strategy Workgroup which included members drawn from the Practice, Medical Economics, and Education Committees; the subcommittees on Guideline Development, Quality Measures and Reporting, Practice Improvement, Patient Safety, and the Stoke Systems Work Group.

The strategy is designed to:

• Align the AAN's QI programs with the National Quality Strategy
• Enhance the AAN QI tools program
• Increase the engagement of the AAN membership in the AAN QI program
• Engage external partners to improve the quality and value of neurologic care
