The American Academy of Neurology Annual meeting to take place in New Orleans April 21–28th2012 and the early registration deadline is March 28 2011.
The Clinical Neurophysiology (CNP) section Highlights in the Field will be held on Wed April 25 6:30–7:30pm.

Workgroup
Current trends in Clinical Neurophysiology workgroup under Dr. Jau Shin Lou’s directorship has 12 members so far evaluating and reviewing issues of concern for the field of neurophysiology to report to our membership. Please contact staff laison, mmorris @aan.com if have issues or concerns to report.
Other issues
Sleep CPT: New guidelines for the sleep section in the CPT codebook resulted from work with AAN and American Assoc of Sleep Medicine.
Neurophysiologic intraoperative monitoring: new guideline to be published in Neurology forthcoming on MEP and SEP monitoring.
Model medical policy for EEG currently being evaluated by AAN, AANEM and ACNS.
